Interior Design Item Clipper — Privacy Policy
The Interior Design Item Clipper saves product details from a supplier's web page into your account on the companion project-management application, operated by Brayton Interiors. It is used today by Brayton Interiors and its contractors.
What it collects
When you click the extension on a page and press Save, it sends to
app.braytoninteriors.com:
- The product details shown in the popup — name, price, lead time, notes and the page's web address
- The product photo, downloaded from that page
- The customer, project, room or component you optionally chose
- The email address of your signed-in account, so the clip is attributed to you
- If you drag a region to photograph, an image of that part of the visible page — taken only at the moment you drag it
What it does not collect
- It does not read pages in the background. It runs only on the tab you are viewing, only when you click it.
- It does not record your browsing history, and it does not have permission to see the addresses of your other tabs.
- It contains no analytics or advertising code of any kind.
- It does not handle passwords, payment details or health information.
Signing in
The extension has no login of its own. It relies on the session cookie already set by
app.braytoninteriors.com when you sign in there. If you are not signed in,
it saves nothing and says so.
Because it uses that existing session, the extension never sees or stores your password.
Where the data goes
To a server operated by Brayton Interiors, over HTTPS. A clip is visible only to people signed in to the account it was saved into. Nothing is sent to any third party, and no data is sold, rented or used for advertising.
Keeping and deleting
A clip stays until someone deletes it in the application. Discarding a clip removes its record and its downloaded photo. To have your data removed, contact us at the address below.
